A Little History

Since the beginning of the 19th century, Sauze d’Oulx has been a destination for the Turin aristocracy, and is still a skiing favourite because of its beautiful location. Skiing has been popular here for over a century and world champions like Piero Gros, a gold medalist of the 1976 Olympics, have been based here. Sauze d’Oulx is a working village all year round and still has a delightful ancient heart of stone buildings and narrow streets.
